Turns out that Microsoft was planning to increase storage across the board since July. These news stories tell about it. I guess, since I'm so cynical, I never thought it would trickle down to me. Guess I was wrong, but I'm sure glad I wasn't right.

This is most certainly a ploy to attract (distract?) users from Gmail and Yahoo. Lucky for me, I already have an account with both of them.
